Restaurant Gusto has reopened at new location

Hof van Saksen has now housed its Italian restaurant, Gusto, at a new location in the central building, the Havezate. The new accommodation next to the entrance has a contemporary, attractive, child-friendly and accessible interior with international allure. Guests are treated to top-quality dining in the inviting atmosphere and can enjoy the culinary spectacle of the Italian chef in the open kitchen.

In addition to more seating and a sea of light, the new Gusto restaurant is now even better set up for children. There is a separate play area with a 7-metre long Lego wall and Lego bricks in the colours of the Italian flag, and there is a special children’s menu complete with (word) games and fun facts about Italy. Children may, in addition to dishes from their own children’s menu, also choose from the adult’s menu, where the portions are then served in child-sizes. Only the freshest ingredients are used for the most delicious pastas and pizzas from the special brick oven.

Working passionately on perfection
General Manager Roland Rozenbroek of Hof van Saksen: “Relocating and completely redesigning Gusto was a radical change that we worked hard on with the entire team. We want to continue to surprise our guests with new experiences and strive for the highest achievable culinary and hospitality levels. We are particularly proud of the end result with which we once again distinguish ourselves as an exclusive resort and we can also hold our own on an international level.

Completely new design in Mediterranean style
The draft, design and execution of the Gusto restaurant was provided by the renowned interior designers of Hip Studio. Wim Hoopman, creative director of Hip Studio: "At Hof van Saksen, perfection is of paramount importance so we wanted to create something surprising and exciting that fits in well with that. In collaboration with the management and employees, a sleek and hip Mediterranean concept was chosen that fits perfectly with the architecture of the central building, the Havezate. Warm soft bronze and yellow colours, luxurious materials and a special lighting concept characterise the new design. Eye catchers are the beautiful wall painting, the striking wallpaper and the marble table tops with print. The exceptional design with many plants complete the Mediterranean experience for guests."
