Influencers discover new nature at Marker Wadden

A group of 15 influencers and nature lovers spent a day visiting the main island of Marker Wadden by invitation.
They were given a guided tour by Elsa Pater from our partner Natuurmonumenten (the Dutch Society for Nature Conservation). The party was particularly impressed by the splendour of nature in this newest part of the Netherlands and a number of fine posts have already appeared on social media.

The main island is the only one of the seven islands at Marken Wadden that can be accessed. Amongst other things, the island is home to 4 sustainably built and designed Landal lodges which are available for short stays. All rental income flows back to Natuurmonumenten for the management of the islands. The group of influencers did not stay overnight, and instead returned to Lelystad harbour by boat in the afternoon.
