Increased risk of wildfires: please remain extra vigilant
Due to ongoing dry weather and high temperatures, several regions are currently experiencing an increased risk of wildfires. We therefore ask you to remain extra vigilant on and around the park.
To help prevent wildfires, please follow these guidelines:
- Do not light open fires, such as campfires, fire baskets, torches, sky lanterns or fireworks.
- Barbecuing is only permitted using gas. The use of wood, charcoal or briquettes is not allowed due to the risk of sparks.
- Do not smoke in natural areas and never discard cigarette butts on the ground.
- Do not park vehicles in tall or dry grass.
- Keep paths, barriers and access roads clear for emergency services.
- Keep fire extinguishing equipment within easy reach.
- Always follow the instructions of forest rangers, site managers, municipalities and regional safety authorities.
If you see smoke or fire, call 112 immediately, provide your location as accurately as possible and also report it to the reception.
