How old must you be to make a booking at Landal GreenParks?
Landal GreenParks will only handle bookings made by people aged 18 or above. Any bookings made by people under the age of 18 will be invalid.
Landal GreenParks reserves the right to refuse any non-standard bookings, in particular from groups, without providing a reason. Alternatively, Landal GreenParks may apply special conditions to the booking.

Hof van Saksen is a unique family resort in the Drenthe countryside. In order to retain its peaceful and familiar character, the resort is not suitable for groups of people under 25 years of age and strict house rules apply. Prior to your stay a deposit may be required that does not exceed the total amount of your booking per accommodation.

What is included in the rental and what is not?
Included in the rent:
- Electricity, gas and heating
- One cot and high chair

- Cleaning costs
- Bed linen per person and children's bed linen

Compulsory additional costs:

I want to book several accommodations at once, do I pay a double booking fee?
No, you only pay a single booking fee. That's nice!

How many accommodations can I book at once?
You can book up to four accommodations at a time through our website. To book up to nine accommodation units, please contact the Contact Centre via +31 88 205 9001. Would you like to book more than nine accommodations? Then contact our Business Line department via +31 (0)88 205 9003 (local rate).

I have booked several accommodations at once, are they close to each other?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee this. We advise you to choose a house number for each accommodation for a one-off payment (€50). This way you can be sure that the accommodation is close to each other.

Preferences, special needs

Can I book a stay with a different arrival day?
At the resort, you can arrive on Mondays or Fridays. During holidays, we do sometimes offer different arrival days.

Something to celebrate?
Do you have something special to celebrate at Hof van Saksen, such as a birthday or anniversary? And would you like to celebrate this in your booked farm? Make it complete with the party package. Want to unpack even more? We are happy to come to you with live music. You can choose both the musical line-up and the repertoire. It will be a party you will never forget. The enthusiastic top musicians are at home in many markets, so you can choose from a wide repertoire.

Can I also spend a day swimming at Hof van Saksen?
Yes, you can also just come and enjoy a day at the resort. Go swimming in the swimming paradise and race down the exciting slides. Or splash around in the musical paddling pool. 

Always contact us in advance on +31(0)592 24 59 50 and ask about availability. At weekends and during school holidays in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, the facilities and activities are only open to resort guests.

Is Hof van Saksen free of fireworks?
Yes, Hof van Saksen is free of fireworks. There are no fireworks displays at the resort. This is useful if you have a scared four-legged friend or if you want to celebrate the holiday season quietly.

Do you have child-friendly accommodations?
Yes definitely! In all farms you will find childproof sockets and a stair gate. All sockets are secured from the inside. The stair gate in the farms is designed for children up to 3 years old and meets the European standard EN 1930. Everything has been thought of in our special 'Children's Farms': toys, a children's table with children's chairs and a children's playroom/bedroom with bunk beds. For babies, there is a special 'Newborn farm'. Everything has been thought of here so you don't have to bring so much yourself. Think of a baby bedroom with hanging cradle, playpen, changing table, baby monitor and even a bottle warmer.

Is Hof van Saksen smoke-free?
All of the accommodations are non-smoking. Smoking is also not permitted on our catering facilities' terraces. Smoking is only permitted at designated smoking areas. These can be found at the 'Havezate', which also houses the reception, swimming pool, and restaurants. And at the 'Brink' you will also find smoking poles. There's an indoor playground and a bowling alley there, among other things.

When and how will I receive my booking confirmation?
You will receive a booking confirmation from us by e-mail within an hour. Check your junk mail to be sure. Did you not receive the confirmation or did you lose it? Then contact the Contact Centre. We will send it to you again.

I have lost my booking confirmation. What should I do?
You will receive confirmation by e-mail from us within one hour of making your booking. Did you not receive it or did you lose it? Make sure it is not in your junk mail and that your mailbox is not full.

Is this not the case?
Fill in your details via the link below and we will e-mail the confirmation again. You can also view your booking directly online in your account.

Can I bring my pet?
Nice that you want to bring your pet! Of course this is possible. So you can enjoy a holiday together. In various accommodation, a maximum of 2 pets are allowed. When you search for an accommodation, you can indicate how many pets you will bring along on holiday with you. You will then see the accommodation that is available on the date you specified. We will automatically add your pets (and travel party) to your booking and adjust the price accordingly.

Good to know:
- Four-legged friends are welcome at the reception and the Grand Cafe in the Havezate.
- Let them run free on the special dog playing field or let them out on the dog walking strips. These are indicated on our resort map. 
- Dogs are allowed to swim in the small ponds. Dogs are not welcome in the recreational lake or on the beach.
- Make sure your dog is leashed throughout the resort. Do not let it loose in the meadow near car parks P2 and P3. This will scare the (pregnant) sheep.

I am allergic to animals, can I book a pet-free accommodation?
Yes, you can. When searching for an accommodation or park, you can indicate in the filter 'Special accommodations' that you are looking for a pet-free accommodation. You will then see the accommodation/parks that are available on the date you specified. When you have found a suitable accommodation and date, select the free preference: pet-free in the booking system.

Accommodation where pets are not allowed:
Accommodations 2C, 2EL (love2stay), 4CN (Newborn), 4CK (Children's farm), 4ELW (Wellness farm), 6B1, 8LT, 18C and 24C are pet-free.
