Travel by train to Assen Station. From there, continue your journey by bus or taxi.

Bus
From Assen Station, two bus routes travel towards Hof van Saksen.

  • Bus 24 towards Stadskanaal: Get off at Veldweg bus stop in Nooitgedacht. Walk approximately 250 metres straight ahead towards the resort's main entrance on Borgerderstraat.

  • Bus 21 towards Emmen: Get off at Weg naar Nooitgedacht bus stop in Nooitgedacht. Cross the road towards Veldweg and walk approximately 1 kilometre to the resort entrance on Veldweg.

Hof van Saksen is a car-free resort. This means that cars are only permitted on the resort on arrival and departure days, helping to preserve the peaceful atmosphere and authentic character of our Saxon farmhouses.

On arrival, you are welcome to drive to your accommodation to unload your luggage. Afterwards, please park your car in one of the central car parks: P1, P2 or P3.

If you have reduced mobility and hold a valid disabled parking permit, please inform the reception. You may then use one of the designated accessible parking spaces.

Guests staying in accommodation types 4B, 6B1 or 6B2 may park directly next to their accommodation.
